Xplor Honors Industry Contributors
Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, recently named Dr. René Müller of GMC Software as the recipient of its annual Brian Platte Lifetime Achievement Award. This honor is bestowed on an individual whose efforts and contributions have significantly changed the course and development of the digital document industry.
Originally hired by GMC as a consultant, Dr. Müller recognized there were fundamental strengths in the product architecture that could place the company in a unique niche. His vision was to leverage these strengths into a software solution that would become an important player in the printing and publishing marketplace worldwide.
