ACUP Just 9 Days Away
Just over a week from today, 80 college and university in-plant managers will be getting together in Minneapolis for the 48th annual Association of College and University Printers conference. Hosted by Minnesota State University-Mankato, and Gustavus Adolphus College, ACUP will feature a full agenda of educational sessions, including an in-depth workshop about Strategic Print Management by Consultant Ray Chambers (and a session on in-plant best practices by IPG Editor Bob Neubauer).
The packed vendor floor will feature not only traditional in-plant supporters like Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Spiel Associates, RSA, EFI, Avanti and Xanté, but will include some interesting newcomers like AnaJet, with T-shirt printing equipment; ApGraph, showcasing a Mutoh 106˝ large-format printer; Boscop, displaying cloud printing software; and Johnson Plastics, showing dye-sublimation and engraving gear.
In addition to the sessions and the ample opportunities to talk shop with fellow higher-ed print managers, ACUP will include a visit to the Print & Mail Operations of Minnesota State University, Mankato. And for the first time, ACUP will hold an awards ceremony to honor the winners of its brand new awards program. Find out all the details and register for ACUP here.
Words can't properly capture the excitement of ACUP, so perhaps these IPG videos of past conferences can convey just a hint of what it's like:
