Epson SureColor T-Series
Epson introduced a new generation of production-class SureColor T-Series wide-format printing solutions with an innovative, compact design. Six new SureColor T-Series 24˝, 36˝, and 44˝ models are slated to launch later this year with the SureColor T7770D 44˝ dual roll printer available first. Developed from the ground up, the models include Epson’s latest 2.64˝ PrecisionCore printhead, which provides outstanding image quality while enabling high speeds (1,400 sq. ft./hr.). The latest models incorporate new features that improve usability and streamline workflow and media handling, including Adobe Embedded Print Engine (standard on most models), dual roll capability, a built-in take-up reel for roll-to-roll printing, complete front operation, easy automatic roll loading, and optional, foldable production stackers. The printers can print on a range of media, including glossy, technical, bond, matte, and specialty medias, and rigid posterboard up to 1.5 mm thick.
The Mimaki JV100-160 is a professional-grade eco-solvent roll-based model with four- and eight-color options, including orange and light black inks. It is available in 64˝ with print speeds up to 677 sq. ft./hr. A new Dot Adjustment System (DAS) automatically adjusts the dot position correction and media feed amount to ensure consistent quality and repeatability. A Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) automatically monitors printhead performance and detects clogged nozzles.
