Several in-plants have been honored for their hard work and dedication by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association. This week, the association announced its 2013 IPMA Award Winners in the following categories.
- The University of West Georgia won the Print Center Award, which recognizes a corporate publishing operation that excels in efficient management practices in furthering the objectives of the parent company.
- The University of Texas at Austin earned the Mail Center Award, which recognizes an entire corporate mail center for outstanding improvements.
- The University of Oklahoma won the Organizational Impact Award, which recognizes a corporate print/mail center for outstanding contributions related to non-production activities within the parent organization.
- Richland School District earned the Innovation Award, which recognizes an organization that has shown creative and innovative ways to improve a process or business model unique to their organization.
- Charlotte Holden, of the Houston Independent School District, won the Management Award, which is given in special recognition of an outstanding corporate publishing professional who has excelled in efficient management practices in furthering the objectives of the parent organization.
- Sherri Isbell, of the University of Oklahoma, was named Outstanding Contributor, an award that recognizes an IPMA member who has demonstrated dedication and support to the association and made positive contributions to the chapter.
All winners were formally recognized during IPMA's Annual Awards Banquet, June 5th, in San Mateo, Calif.
