List of Largest 15 In-plants by Sales
As our annual list of the largest in-plants hits your mailbox in this month's issue of IPG, it's interesting to compare it to our 2012 list to see what's changed. Last year's 15 largest in-plants according to sales were basically the same as this year's top 15, with a few moving slightly up or down in the ranks. Four in-plants from last year's top 15 climbed slightly in the ranks: the State of California, the State of Oregon, the World Bank and the University of Washington. Here's a quick look at the annual sales numbers reported to IPG last year and this year, along with the percentage change. (Of course, many factors impact the reported sales, including taking over new departments and eliminating services.) For the full list of the largest in-plants, see our December issue.
