One Dead, Two Injured at Paper Mill

One man is dead and two more were injured following an accident at the RockTenn paper mill in Hodge, LA, on Tuesday. Dewey Seymour, executive vice president of Deep South Industrial Services, confirmed that one of his employees died in the accident. He said the investigation is still ongoing.

“We don’t know a lot of information yet. We’ve just begun the investigation,” Seymour said. Hodge Police Chief Johnny Shively said his department received a call around 10 a.m. for assistance in what was described as a confined-space rescue operation.
