Red Giant Makes Active Multi-Million Dollar Printing Deal
ORLANDO, FL—March 13, 2013—Red Giant Entertainment has entered into an on-going agreement with Active Media Printing to provide exclusive, near-cost printing and logistics services for its upcoming 52 million annual circulation line of books.
"This agreement will literally save us millions," explained Red Giant COO David Campiti. "When we can chop our costs this drastically, that's money in the bank. It's great to have cash flowing in the door—and even better to keep it there."
Since 2003, Active Media Printing has been an American-based company whose printing factory is based out of mainland China. They specialize in graphic novel and magazine printing, and handle the logistics and shipping for their clients across the globe.
Red Giant Entertainment recently announced a major plan to publish a one million circulation per week line of giant-sized graphic novels, wholly supported by major advertisers.
"With what we have in the works," Campiti stated, "this was a vital step in our overall development. Active Media was already the lowest cost and the highest-quality printer for us, and now working with them is an even better deal."
The deal also extends to its entire publishing line, not just its advertising-supported ones. Wayward Sons: Legends Volumes 3 and 4, Exposure Volume 1 and The Cartoon Art of Mike Deodato will benefit from this special pricing and will begin selling in April and May of this year through their online store, Amazon, and bookstores worldwide.
