Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corp. (SEC), has launched three professional-grade color and monochrome printers – the BP-B550PW, BP-C545PW, BP-C131PW – along with a multifunction printer (MFP) – the BP-C131WD – designed to meet the high-volume functionality needs of modern businesses.
The four models boast advanced security features to protect against network intrusions and enhance overall device security. These include personal and sensitive data protection, data encryption, secure data erasure, and TLS 1.3 support. Additionally, they feature boot verification, automatic firmware updates and end-of-lease data deletion to ensure robust security throughout the device lifecycle.
The BP-C131PW single-function color printer and the BP-C131WD color MFP are designed with sustainability in mind. Printing at 31 pages per minute, both devices are made up of approximately 50% recycled plastic and use patented organic toner made from plant-based materials. They come with Energy Star advanced power management and low-temperature fusing for best-in-class power consumption and overall energy efficiency. In addition, their 4" Class LCD touchscreens provide for high-level responsiveness.

The monochrome BP-B550PW and color BP-C545PW printers feature 7" Class LCD touchscreens, printing speeds of 50 and 45 pages per minute respectively, and optional virus detection and data security kits for added cybersecurity protection.
All four printers can maximize productivity and collaboration with available easy access to applications and cloud services, such as Microsoft Office direct printing and Cloud Connect capabilities. IT managers can utilize Synappx Manage to remotely monitor and automate device management, further streamlining office operations.
These models are available to order immediately and can be purchased directly through Sharp or through an authorized Sharp dealer.
