U.K. University Brings Printing In-house

After years of outsourcing its prospectus and direct mail printing, the University of Surrey has added a Kodak NexPress 2100 color digital press to bring all its printing in-house.

The NexPress, which delivers 2,100 A3 sheets per hour, was installed in the university’s marketing and communications department. Personalized projects can now be handled in-house from design through to print. The university expects to save money as a result.
