A new video offers a rare look inside CVS Health’s impressive 50,000-sqft in-plant in Woonsocket, RI, where 65 employees support operations across the healthcare giant’s nationwide network. Ranked No. 13 on In-plant Impressions’ 2025 list of the largest in-plants by employees, the operation produces everything from store marketing materials to member mailings, and ships customized materials to more than 7,400 CVS stores each week. During the COVID pandemic, the in-plant printed 160 million vaccine labels.
Narrated by Joseph Kelley, senior manager of print production and support, the video also highlights the shop’s sustainability efforts, use of on-demand digital printing, and the experience of its longtime staff.
“I like being able to help people take an idea and turn it into something real,” Kelley says. “It's work that happens behind the scenes and helps support healthcare experiences every day.”
The in-plant continues to expand, he says, and is looking for digital press operators to help meet the growing demand for printed materials.
