Washington State Department of Printing Debuts Newsletter
The Washington State Department of Printing has started producing a quarterly newsletter, called Print to Post, in collaboration with Consolidated Mail Services. The goal is to keep customers abreast of advances in printing/mailing and tell them about new services.
Covered in the debut issue are shop success stories, like the printing and distribution of W2 forms, savings opportunities for key customers, details on the in-plant’s finishing and copy center capabilities, background information on print/mail personnel and tips for proper mail addressing.
Part of the motivation for the newsletter was to highlight the collaboration between the printing and distribution services.
“We are trying to create a more seamless operation with one face to the customer,” remarks Jean-Luc Devis, State Printer.
