This week's selection is from the legendary Rickard Bindery in Chicago for Kyocera. The format is the rarest of the stepped accordion variations—it's a bidirectional and asymmetrical staggered stepped accordion. With two views, varying tab depths and no flush edge, this unique nine-panel format, although impactful, is extremely difficult to machine fold.
The accomplishment is a tribute to Rickard's skill in the specialty arena. For those who are interested, Trish provides the panel measurements in the video for assistance. It's a must-see!
Trish Witkowski shares her super-cool folding samples and helpful production tips. View the "60-second Super-cool Fold of the Week" archive at www.foldfactory.com.
