ACUP Exec Resigns
Just months after its first conference as a non-profit organization, the Association of College and University Printers (ACUP) has announced that Executive Director Tom Tozier has resigned from his position.
A brief press release from the ACUP Board of Directors stated, "We wish to express our gratitude to Tom for his leadership through the incorporation of ACUP as a non-profit organization and for his work on the first successful conference under ACUP’s new status."
When contacted by IPG, ACUP President Richard Griffin said Tom and the board agreed to go their separate ways. "The board wishes Tom nothing but the very best in his future business ventures and thanks him for his service," Griffin said.
Jennifer Bowers will continue to serve the association as administrative director. One of her main projects in the coming months will be to assist in the organization’s election of new officers and the continuation of the day to day activities of the association.
Plans are currently underway for the ACUP 2012 conference, to be hosted by Bucknell University.
