IPMA Conference Three Weeks Away
June is here, and that means the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) conference is closer than ever. It will start in just 23 days, in Kansas City, MO, bringing together in-plant managers from all over the country.
“We’ve got a pretty good lineup of speakers,” says new IPMA President Tony Seaman, director of Printing & Graphic Services at The University of Mississippi. He's especially proud that IPMA has snagged Kansas City Chiefs’ Hall of Famer Nick Lowery to be the opening keynote speaker. He will talk about how to avoid the fear of failure and how to perform at your very best when it matters most.
Other sessions will offer practical advice on how to beat the competition, how to better manage the people you lead, and how to make your operation more efficient. Presentations will cover color management, design, Web-based proof approvals, customer service and more; in-plant managers will talk about new services they have added, such as mail scanning and dimensional printing; and a roundtable discussion will let managers share their success stories to inspire others.
To participate in this year's largest gathering of in-plant printers (and possibly win a football autographed by Nick Lowery), visit IPMA's site for registration information.
