New In-plant for Church of Scientology

The Church of Scientology plans to start up a new web offset production facility early next year featuring a Goss Sunday 2000 press, according to a press release from Goss. The organization already has an extensive digital print operation in Los Angeles. The new web press will be used to produce the church's collateral materials and publications.

Along with this, the new in-plant will add a Technique MIS system, with applications including estimating, order management, scheduling, inventory management, real-time shop floor data collection and job costing.
