Due to ongoing pandemic related challenges, Flint CPS announced price increases for heatset and coldset inks across North America. Costs continue to increase across all raw material supply chain categories including; pigments, resins, solvents, and others.

The continued escalation of raw material costs, increasing international and domestic freight rates, and shortages of key material inputs into the printing ink supply chain, have all contributed to this price increase. 

Having a good color management strategy for matching offset and digital jobs means having a target, a set process, and verification.

Along with many other suppliers in to the printing industry, Flint Group has been faced with cost increases across the full breadth of the supply chain, from raw materials to logistics.

Sun Chemical will increase prices across a broad portfolio of its packaging and commercial sheetfed inks, coatings, and adhesives in North America, effective March 15, 2021.

The printing industry continues to face relentless raw material shortages, worsening supply chain conditions and new disruptions, such as U.S. tariffs against China.
