Ricoh showed the Pro VC70000e continuous-feed inkjet press for the first time at Hunkeler Innovationdays. IPI Editor Bob Neubauer talked with Ricoh Director of Global Marketing Mike Herold about how the new press helps print providers capture premium print quality work. 

I just returned from Lucerne, Switzerland, where I attended Hunkeler Innovationdays. The international trade show focuses on digital printing and finishing technologies – but the inkjet presses stole the show.

Inkjet guru Marco Boer talked with IPI's Bob Neubauer at Innovationdays about the impressive lineup of inkjet presses at the show and advancement of inkjet in the industry.

IPI Editor Bob Neubauer chatted with Canon’s Jennifer Kolloczek this week at Hunkeler Innovationdays, in Lucerne, Switzerland, about the two inkjet presses running at Canon’s booth. “We have lots of innovation to show,” said Kolloczek.

Canon announced the ProStream 3000 series, the next generation of its high-speed, web-fed inkjet presses for commercial print. Built on the established ProStream technology platform, the new series delivers consistent offset print quality at industrial speed on a wide selection of substrates.

We talked with Xeikon's Dimitri Van Gaever about the new Xeikon SX30000 single pass, duplex, roll-fed press, which uses dry toner technology to produce top-quality images.
