Nearly 100 college and university in-plant managers convened in Portsmouth, VA this week for the 50th ACUP Conference. Attendees from across the country and from overseas spent three days networking, learning and celebrating the achievements of their peers.

On Thursday, May 14, IPG will host in-plants in government and higher-education for a one-day conference at GPO's Washington, DC, headquarters. The conference will include speakers and topics covering an array of in-plant issues.  

Fifty years ago, the first ACUP conference commenced at the University of Virginia. The tradition continues this Sunday, with in-plant professionals from around the world converging on Portsmouth, VA, not far from where it all began.

An autumn excursion to Chicago for Graph Expo can typically be penciled in to the schedules of those in the printing industry each year. But, in 2016, the annual trade show will head to Orlando instead. IPG caught up with GASC President Ralph Nappi to find out why.

In May, In-plant Graphics will host a free one-day conference for in-plants in government and higher-education. Working with the Government Publishing Office (GPO), IPG has secured a spacious auditorium in GPO’s Washington, DC, headquarters for the event, and anticipates an action-packed day of education and networking.

If you've been thinking that four years is just too long to wait in between drupa shows, rest easy. The world's largest graphic arts trade fair just announced that, after its 2016 event, it will switch to a three-year cycle.

It’s hard to improve on a winning formula, but EFI has continued to raise the bar for its Connect users’ conference as illustrated by last month’s 15th annual event in Las Vegas. Approximately 1,500 attendees—1,000 of them EFI customers from 25 different countries (a 20 percent jump from the previous year)—gathered at The Wynn Las Vegas for four days of educational and breakout sessions, plus several keynote presentations.
