Trump or Clinton? New Survey Reveals How Printers Plan to Vote
When you ask business economists whether they think Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump would do a better job managing the U.S. economy, most pick the former — by a 4-1 margin. Yet a new survey conducted by NAPCO Research reveals that a majority of business leaders plan to support Trump in the upcoming presidential election. What are the drivers behind their decisions?
The new study — a survey of 810 business leaders across the commercial printing, promotional products, consumer electronics and non-profit industries — was undertaken to examine candidate support from a business point of view. The economy and national security were top of mind issues for business leaders, who made up their minds even before Monday night’s debate, according to the research.
Of all the industries surveyed, the commercial printing industry favored one candidate by a higher percentage than business leaders in other industries. To find out which one, and also learn to what degree respondents support each candidate, and the key drivers behind their decisions, download the NAPCO Research report.
