Free Graph Expo Session on How to Benchmark Your In-plant
Without question, in-plants have to watch their costs, track their expenses and stay competitive. To help them benchmark their operations against industry standards, Canon Solutions America will launch an assessment tool at Graph Expo called the Performance Challenge. It will be introduced and demonstrated during a special free breakfast session on Monday September 29 at 9 a.m. in room S102 A/B.
NAPL Senior Consultant Howie Fenton will kick off the event by explaining the importance of benchmarking and how it can strengthen your in-plant. Then Canon Solutions America’s Aaron Hale will debut the Performance Challenge, showing in-plants how they can use it to examine their operation's strengths and weaknesses and formulate a plan for growth.
The Performance Challenge was developed in collaboration with research and analysis firm InfoTrends. It scores users based upon industry analysis and benchmarks borne out of exhaustive InfoTrends research. The Challenge addresses in-plant operational performance in five key areas:
- Management, benchmarking and customer service
- Range of products and services
- Production workflow
- Awareness
- Competition and insourcing
For in-plant managers that want just a high-level overview of their operation's performance, the tool features a 20-question Basic Challenge. More diligent managers will want to take the Ultimate Challenge, which comprises about 50 questions and returns a comprehensive, detailed evaluation, along with an ROI if recommendations are followed.
What sets the Performance Challenge apart form other types of assessment tools is that managers can benchmark their operations against the industry metrics and best practices and be confident that the purchase and acquisition decisions they make are the right ones.
In-plant managers who want to discover how their operation stacks up and get a comprehensive and informed understanding of what it takes to succeed in today’s market should plan to attend the free breakfast session at Graph Expo. Find out more and register here.
