Frank Nemeyer, the publisher of In-plant Reproductions (later renamed In-plant Graphics) in the late 1980s and early 1990s, passed away on May 18. In his years with the magazine, he was a strong advocate for in-plants.
During World War II, Mr. Nemeyer served in the Army Air Force Corps with the 2532 Air Base Command Unit, based At Randolph Field in Texas. During the 1940s and '50s, he was an independent producer of B-Roll films, documentaries and photographic projects for NBC Studios. He also produced B roll for live shows such as "Playhouse 90".
After relocating to Philadelphia, Mr. Nemeyer spent 25 years with North American Publishing Co. (now NAPCO Media), the owner of IPG. After retiring he remained active as an adjunct professor at Drexel University and Rosemont College.
