Government, Higher-ed Forum Less than Two Weeks Away
Government and higher-ed in-plant managers eager for a chance to network with one another and get some new ideas will have that opportunity in just 12 days when the Interquest Digital Printing in Government and Higher Education Forum takes place in Washington, D.C. The event will be held for the first time in the offices of the U.S Government Printing Office, giving managers a chance to tour the country's largest in-plant.
The seminar, free for government and higher-ed professionals, will take place Wednesday, November 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The keynote presentation will be delivered by the Acting Public Printer Davita Vance-Cooks. Then Gilles Biscos, president of Interquest will present research results and analyze key trends in the publishing, print-on-demand, transactional, graphic arts and in-plant markets. He will explore recent technological and market developments, discuss the impact of drupa's announcements and examine future changes along with the synergy between printed and electronic communication.
The event will also feature a panel of in-plant experts in government and higher-ed explaining how they are leveraging digital printing technology to improve productivity, reduce costs and enhance communication. The panel will include:
- Richard Beto, director of Document Solutions at The University of Texas at Austin.
