Graph Expo Seeks to Defeat Hunger
Exhibitors at Graph Expo 15 and the co-located CPP Expo, coming Sept. 13-16, 2015, to Chicago’s McCormick Place South, will have the opportunity to contribute to the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) Defeat Hunger campaign that launched this spring. The goal of the Defeat Hunger campaign is to address food insecurity in Greater Cook County, Illinois. The campaign will extend through Sept. 18, the last day of Process Expo, which will take place Sept. 15-18, 2015, in McCormick Place North and East, running in conjunction with Graph Expo 15 and CPP Expo.
“We applaud FPSA for their commitment to such a worthy cause and are happy to partner with them in this worthwhile effort,” said GASC president Ralph Nappi. “With the participation of Graph Expo 15 and CPP Expo exhibitors and attendees, the goal of 300,000 meals should be well within reach.”
The Graphic Arts Show Co. (GASC) will make a donation to add to the campaign that launched earlier by the FPSA Foundation and will include donations from a wide variety of partners such as FPSA members, local food processors, Process Expo exhibitors and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
“We are proud to once again partner with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which provides assistance to those in need through their member food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters,” noted David Seckman, president and CEO of FPSA.
