Howie Fenton Starts Consulting Company
Well known in the in-plant industry for his consulting work and presentations at conferences, Howie Fenton has parted ways with NAPL, his employer for the past 12 years, and started his own consulting business.
"It is with mixed feelings that I announce that I have left NAPL," Fenton told IPG yesterday. "I can’t go into detail except to say that we were going in different directions. My focus will remain in-plant service providers, streamlining workflows, digital technologies and benchmarking performance."
Fenton's presentations at industry events are always popular with in-plant managers. At Graph Expo, his talk on benchmarking drew a roomful of in-plant managers to an IPG luncheon. And just two weeks ago he delivered a presentation to managers at an In-plant Printing and Mailing Association regional meeting in his hometown of Denver. An article by Fenton on "Web-to-print Leaders and Laggards" will appear in the November issue of IPG.
"I enjoyed my 12 year tenure with NAPL, made some great friends and I will continue to work with NAPL as an adjunct consultant," Fenton continued. Those interested in keeping in touch with him can reach him at HowieAtPre@aol.com.
