In-plant Impressions has won an Award of Excellence in the 2026 APEX Awards competition, which recognizes excellence in publishing by professional communicators. This is the seventh APEX Award earned by the magazine.
Awards were based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications effectiveness and excellence. IPI won the award in the “Magazines, Journals and Tabloids” category for its April/May/June 2025 issue, edited by Bob Neubauer and designed by Michelle Appalucci. Overall, the contest received approximately 1,000 entries.
In 2021, IPI won a Grand Award in the Writing category of the contest, the highest award available, for Editor Bob Neubauer’s article “Second Chance Pays Off,” recounting the journey of Talmedge Hayes from prison inmate to key press operator at the Palm Beach County Graphics Division.
