Win Recognition for Your In-plant
What if you could bring recognition to your in-plant, strengthen ties with your customers and build morale among your employees? Would you pass up that opportunity?
Entering your in-plant's printing in the In-Print 2014 contest can bring your shop all these benefits. Employees will be proud just to know their work was selected for entry, as will the customers who ordered those jobs. And winning a prize will put everyone over the moon.
The deadline for this year's In-Print contest—the only printing contest exclusively for in-plants—is January 31, so don't put this off; start collecting samples now. Go through your printed work and pick out pieces that are perfect in every way—great registration, crisp folds and no hickeys. Selecting flawless samples is the best way to ensure that your pieces make it through the first round of scrutiny by our eagle-eye judges.
Jointly sponsored by In-plant Graphics and the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA), the contest is an excellent way to show off the quality of your printing. Not only does the contest have numerous categories for both "Offset" and "Non-Offset" pieces...
- There is a category for projects printed using both techniques.
- There are categories specifically for users of copiers and MFDs, so you're not competing against digital production presses.
- There's a new category for VDP/cross-media projects.
As a perk for IPMA members, their first three entries are free. So what possible reason do you have for not entering? Other in-plants pay a very low entry fee—just $30 per piece. (Compare this with other printing contests, which charge more than $100 per entry!)
