Earlier this spring, Ohio University entered into an agreement for university-wide management of copiers and printing with a company called ComDoc, but the appropriateness of that agreement for some faculty members remains in question.
The goal has been to forge a reduction in printing, copying and toner costs around the campus by taking on a monthly flat fee. But the program has not been without its detractors. A number of faculty members expressed a variety of concerns during a Faculty Senate meeting last month.
