NGPA Conference Starts Sunday
On Sunday evening, the 35th annual National Government Publishing Association (NGPA) conference will kick off in Denver. Conference host Mike Lincoln, manager of Integrated Document Solutions for the State of Colorado, expects a big jump in attendance over last year's more sparsely attended event in Virginia Beach.
Entitled "Exceptional Government and the Power of Partnership," the conference will feature such speakers as Gary Reblin, USPS vice president, Domestic Products, and Howie Fenton, senior consultant with NAPL, who will offer a session called "Only the Smartest, Best-Managed and Most Innovative will Survive."
Chris Reich, CEO of TeachUPresentation, will give a talk called "Using Game Theory to Make Effective Presentations," and Mike Maselli, vice president of marketing and product management at Bell & Howell will discuss "Increasing Customer Loyalty."
A talk by consultant and former in-plant manager Vic Barkin will focus on "Leveraging In-plant and Outside Vendor Partnerships." IPG Editor Bob Neubauer will also give a presentation using IPG survey data to compare government in-plants with those serving other types of organizations.
As part of the conference, the group will tour the State of Colorado's Integrated Document Services operation, which was named Mail Center of the Year by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association. Find out more and see the full agenda here.
