The new 2025 Printing Industry Census provides the most comprehensive look yet at the people who drive today’s print sector. Blending data with personal stories, the census underscores that print is fundamentally a people-powered industry: more than 80% of respondents say they would choose printing again, nearly half are seasoned professionals aged 55–64, and 61% express concern about AI even as many already use it in their daily work.
Additional findings show strong civic engagement, with up to 92% voting in every election, and a continued commitment to learning, with 25% returning to school for further training. Presented with easy-to-read charts and infographics, the census report covers everything from hair color and height to hobbies, cuisine preferences, and vacation habits.
Together, these insights paint a portrait of a resilient, evolving community whose craft endures through the individuals who shape it.
