Océ is holding VIP events in several cities to familiarize printers with its new equipment and educate them on the advantages of “green” initiatives. After the event, attendees are invited to join Oce at a major league baseball game, while tickets last.
An Océ VIP event was held last week in Alexandria, Va. Attendees watched the Florida Marlins beat the Washington Nationals 10-4.
The events will feature a preview of new Océ production color products, as well as the Océ VarioPrint 6000 series, which is reportedly 45 percent more energy efficient than comparable devices.
Each event features former in-plant manager (and frequent IPG writer) Vic Nathan Barkin as a guest speaker. He will give a presentation titled “Green business is good business.”
At the meeting, printers will learn how “green” choices can make a difference to their bottom line and reduce costs and waste. They will also find out how to market their green initiatives.
Here’s a schedule of upcoming dates and cities:
• New York; April 30
• Boca Raton; Fla.; June 25
• Atlanta; September 18
