For decades civilization has been trying to move beyond paper into a screen-based, digital world. Yet the "paperless office" always seems to be just a few years away, forever approaching but never arriving.
A Chicago reporter with no background in the paper or printing industries, attended the Paper2017 networking event to find out why. Here's his often-humorous outsider's look at the status of paper in a digital world.
