The Richland (WA) School District Print Shop has set a new record of saving money by making copies. For the last six years, teachers and staff have been printing and copying at the district’s print shop, rather than in their own buildings.
Last month, the print shop did a record breaking 3.5 million copies, which is twice the usual monthly amount.
Since the shop pays a lower rate per copy, the district saved tens of thousands of dollars, but it’s the teachers who really benefit.
