Four In-plants in One Day
On Monday, IPG Editor Bob Neubauer traveled to New York City to visit four different in-plants scattered around the Big Apple. The diverse collection of shops included NBC, AXA Equitable, New York Presbyterian Hospital and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which recently installed a new four-color Ryobi perfecting press.
Most of the in-plants had both offset and digital capabilities, and they ranged in size from three employees to more than 10.
Neubauer documented his long walking tour (eight miles!) and in-plant visits in a new video, which was just posted on the IPG site (minutes ago). It offers a nice look at New York decked out for Christmas and a quick peek inside these four in-plants. (Check out the press operator's view from the NBC pressroom.)
