Government In-plants to Meet in New Orleans
When the National Government Publishing Association picked New Orleans as the site of its upcoming conference, the group was thinking beyond the Bourbon Street partying that usually lures visitors to the Crescent City.
To reenforce the theme of disaster recovery, the group plans to take an afternoon tour of the hurricane-ravaged sections of the city and witness the rebuilding efforts that have taken place since Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005.
This is just one of the events that’s sure to leave a lasting impression on government in-plant managers who attend the 33rd annual NGPA conference from October 25-28. In addition to providing the opportunity to network with managers from all across the country, the conference will feature more than a dozen educational sessions. Topics will include:
• Using the Economic Meltdown to Your Advantage
• Protecting your In-plant
• What Printers Need to Know About Mail
• Finding Your Shop’s Secret Ingredient
• The Value of Your In-house Designer
