Tony Seaman Takes the Helm at IPMA
Tony Seaman, director of Brand Creative Services at the University of Mississippi, is the new president of the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA). He takes the reigns from previous president John Sarantakos, of the University of Oklahoma, who served as the association's president for the past two years. Seaman will formally introduce himself to members at IPMA's conference in Kansas City, June 24-28.
Born and raised in Cambridge, England, Seaman brings over 40 years of experience in the printing industry. At Ole Miss, he has managerial responsibility for design, copywriting, offset printing, the copy center, the digital print center and the bulk mail area. Tony earned IPMA certification as a Graphic Communications Manager (CGCM) in 2004.
"The past presidents have left a legacy of successes that is reflected in the support of our membership and vendor partners," notes Seaman. "It is my hope that I can call upon the expertise of the past presidents, board members, membership and vendors to continue to share the growth and demands of the ever changing world of in-plants. I look forward to working with each of you and getting to know you personally."
