After a long drought through all of 2018, the U.S. Postal Service is finally bringing back mailing promotions this year. Five promotions from previous years are returning, and one new Informed Delivery promotion is being added. This is an opportunity for in-plant mailers to utilize Informed Delivery to add more value to their customers' mailings. Our new research into in-house mailing services reveals that just 26% are using Informed Delivery currently.
One of the promotions, the Tactile, Sensory & Interactive Promotion, encourages mailers to enhance a customer experience with direct mail by using advanced print innovations in paper, substrates, inks and interactive elements and finishing techniques.
