Quad to Buy LSC Communications, Creating $8.1 billion Print Firm

Sussex, Wis.-based Quad/Graphics is acquiring LSC Communications, of Chicago, to create a combined $8.1 billion, publicly-held company. The deal is the result of a whopping $1.4 billion all-stock transaction, which includes the refinancing of LSC Communications' debt.

Agfa to Close NJ Offset Plate Manufacturing Facility

Agfa Graphics has announced that it will be closing its 250,000-sq.-ft. offset printing plate manufacturing facility in Branchburg, N.J., by the end of this year in order to optimize its global production capacity and supply chain efficiencies. The plant closure will impact 125 workers.

EFI Appoints New CEO
