We're now only seven weeks out from PRINTING United Expo (Oct. 22-24, Orlando, Florida), so we've got seven key features of the event you cannot miss.
AI for All
New this year is PRINTING United Expo's AI Pavilion (Booth 4255), a central hub on the show floor dedicated to providing attendees with everything they need to know about AI and it's ability to transform the printing and packaging industry. Expo attendees can engage with sponsors at dedicated kiosks, interact with curated educational content, and explore the “AI Wall” — a visual guide to all AI-focused technologies being displayed across the Expo.
Inspiring Education
With sessions ranging from tips for sales success to the use of AI in the future of creative teams, there is an educational track for every interest and printing industry segment.
Pro tip: To explore sessions planned for each industry segment, use the option "Filter by Session Track." Then save those sessions to your show planner.
Women in Print Alliance
In addition to its annual Networking Luncheon, Women in Print Alliance is planning several other networking opportunities and meet ups. Check out the organization's page dedicated to the Expo for updates and more information.
Spill the Ink
Speaking of networking, new this year is PRINTING United Expo's Spill the Ink program, a drop-in discussion zone. For those who want a more informal opportunity to "talk shop" with industry peers, head over to Booth 5659 at 11:00 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23. Happy Hour will also take place during the 3:30 p.m. slot on both days.
G7/G7+ Exchange
On the day before the Expo begins (Oct. 21, 1-6 p.m.), there will be the in-person, inaugural G7/G7+ Exchange, where passionate print professionals will come together to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of color quality and consistency. Expect sessions, success stories, expert insights, and the kind of real-world knowledge you can’t get anywhere else. Click here to register now.
For more information on the Exchange, check out this podcast with Joe Marin, senior vice president of Member Services, where we discuss the event and what attendees can expect.
Ushering in the Next Gen
One of the things we hear from print service providers often is the need to attract and retain the next generation. To foster opportunities and support students in the printing industry, PRINTING United Alliance, in partnership with the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, is once again welcoming students back to the show floor with Student Day at the Expo (Oct. 23). This is your opportunity to start up conversations with students when you see them on the show floor, in a booth, or at one of the many networking opportunities.
Hands-On Training Zones
One of the more popular aspects of the Expo are the hands-on training zones that give attendees the chance to take part in demonstrations, training, and education, all in one place. Head over to the Apparel Zone to explore screen printing, sublimation/cut-and-sew, embroidery, heat-applied graphics, and other printing technologies will be at your fingertips. In the PDAA Installer Zone, attendees can practice at a window station, improve their wrapping skills, and even compete in a mini competition.
Stay tuned for more can't-miss Expo coverage coming next week!
