IPMA 2011 Conference Just Months Away
In-plant managers from around the country will gather in Charleston, S.C., June 5-9 for the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association’s 52nd educational conference.
Taking place at the Charleston Marriott, near the city’s historic center, the IPMA 2011 “Charting the Future” conference will feature educational sessions, networking opportunities and a vendor fair. The conference will wrap up with an awards banquet, during which the winners of In-Print 2011 will be saluted, and the Best of Show winners revealed.
Over the course of the three-day conference, sessions will explore core issues essential to the success of in-plants. Topics will include:
• How to Justify Equipment
• Developing Budgeted Hourly Rates
• Total Cost of Ownership
• Intelligent Mail Barcodes
• Switching Seamlessly from Offset to Digital
• MDF Hard Drive Security
• The New Role of the CSR
The keynote speaker will be Jairy C. Hunter Jr. president of Charleston Southern University. Other speakers will give presentations with such intriguing titles as “Transform Your Team from Average to Awesome” and “Repositioning Your In-plant to Grow.” Plus, last year’s In-Print Best of Show winner in the non-offset category, Jimmy Friend, of the University of North Texas, will reveal some of his in-plant’s secrets in a session called “How to Go from No-show to Best of Show.”
