New York City In-plants at Christmas Time
Anyone who enjoys Christmas knows that New York City does a spectacular job of celebrating it. And since the city is packed with in-plants, IPI has found that December is an excellent time for visiting them — a sort of holiday house call, and a chance to meet some of these hard-working managers.
A few Decembers ago (in 2009, to be exact), IPI Editor Bob Neubauer put together a nice video documenting his visits to four city in-plants, while showing off some of New York’s famous window displays, Christmas trees and festive street scenes. We thought we would share this with you again. It’s IPI's tribute to the holiday and to four in-plants tucked away in the heart of the Big Apple.
Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited nearly 170 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
