An In-plant's Web-to-Print Evolution

Before adding a Web-to-print system, jobs were submitted to Sun Life Financial’s Print Center via email and required a minimum of 15 minutes per job to write up — plus an additional 5-15 minutes to clarify.

Since adding Web-to-print the time savings for the production staff is 15 minutes per job, which results in almost 1,100 hours per year — or approximately a half person. What's more, the in-plant has seen an 86% reduction in cycle time for business cards.
