Today in Orlando, Florida, hundreds of in-plant managers joined thousands of other print providers in the Orange County Convention Center for the opening day of PRINTING United Expo 2025. The show opened with a ribbon cutting and a live performance by the Freedom High School’s “Pride of the Patriots Marching Band” & Color Guard. Then attendees surged into the exhibit hall to start visiting its 820+ exhibitors.
Also starting at 9:00 this morning was the Expo’s robust educational program. Of key interest was the State of the Industry keynote offered by Alliance Insights’ Andrew Paparozzi, Lisa Cross, and Nathan Safran. They presented the latest economic and market research and analyzed current trends shaping the printing industry. This followed their Alliance Insights Breakfast presentation earlier this morning.
Among the highly anticipated equipment debuts at the show are several new inkjet presses, including Canon’s varioPRINT iX1700, Ricoh’s Pro VC80000, and Xerox’s IJP900. Duplo and Standard Finishing will also debut several pieces of bindery equipment. Plus the show will feature an endless array of new wide-format printers and cutters, sure to attract the attention of visiting in-plants. Watch for updates on these and all products being debuted at the Expo.
