Spelsberg UK, a leading manufacturer in the electrical industry focusing on the electrical installation and enclosure technology sectors, has brought printing in-house by installing a Mimaki UJF-6042 MkIIe flatbed UV inkjet printer, according to an article in Printweek. The Mimaki allows the manufacturer to print branding, contact information and safety or instructional information directly onto junction boxes, terminal blocks, and meter housings without having to to import custom-printed parts from its German parent company.
Installed in May 2022, the Mimaki joined the company’s CNC router, which it also uses to customize the enclosures.
