In-plants Gather in Atlanta for Road Show
Just two weeks after its successful In-plant Road Show at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in-plant in Salt Lake City, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) brought its Road Show to the other side of the country. Yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia State University opened the doors of its in-plant for a full day of networking and education.
The one-day mini-conference drew more than 20 in-plant managers from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Federal Home Loan Bank Atlanta, the University of Georgia, Dekalb County School District, Columbus State University, Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Harper College, and Encompass Health Print Services, to name a few.
After a welcome by Kevin Kelley, director of Print & Mail Services at Georgia State University, attendees enjoyed breakfast and then a presentation on production inkjet by Canon USA's Ronaldo Martinez. Another presentation on promo products was offered by Lou Manitza of Swag Solutions.
After lunch, attendees had a chance to visit the booths set up by exhibitors and talk with them about the solutions they provide. Then edu Business Solutions gave a presentation on marketing strategies to elevate your in-plant. Attendees spent the afternoon touring the in-plant.
IPMA Road Shows are free to all in-plants. There is just one more planned for 2026:
