IPMA Launches Franklin Stamp and Ink Society
Just in time for its conference in June, the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) has launched the Franklin Stamp and Ink Society, a group made up exclusively of IPMA’s Certified Graphic Communication and Mail Managers (CGCMs and CMMs). The initial 50 members, representing all segments of the in-plant market, will be inducted during a ceremony at the IPMA conference in San Mateo, Calif., taking place June 2-5.
"The pairing of the Society and IPMA’s certification is unique to our industry," notes Rob Lindgard, new IPMA president. "No other organization offers this type of leadership group.”
The CGCM and CMM designations are achieved through a process of testing and career evaluation. Members of the Franklin Stamp and Ink Society will be asked to actively participate in recruiting, mentoring and other IPMA leadership activities in an effort to actively engage colleagues and help strengthen the in-plant industry.
