Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 170 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.

After a thorough search for a new folder, the Office of Publications, Print and Mail at Bucknell University chose a Baum UltraFold 714XA Autofold to replace the shop's Duplo tabletop folder.

Anyone who has ever attended an Association of College and University Printers (ACUP) conference knows what an exciting event it can be. The camaraderie of attendees combined with the quality of the sessions make this one of the premier in-plant events of the year.

When Bucknell University’s Office of Publications, Print and Mail decided it was time to replace its 17-year-old Rosback perforator/creaser, the Lewisburg, Pa., in-plant didn’t just want another version of the same machine. It wanted new capabilities so it could offer new value to the university.

Bucknell University's Office of Publications, Print and Mail has become one of the first in-plants to install the new Xerox Color 800 digital press. The 80-page-per-minute, 2,400x2,400-dpi printer debuted at On Demand this past spring.

Philadelphia was the digital printing capital of the country this week, as the AIIM/On Demand Show brought thousands of printers and manufacturers to IPG's hometown. Among them were scores of in-plant managers from around the country.

IPG Editor Bob Neubauer ran into managers from Temple University, Penn State, The Hershey Co., Securian Financial Group, University of Delaware, The National Board of Medical Examiners, and many other organizations as he walked the show floor. Bucknell University brought a half dozen in-plant staff members on a bus from Lewisburg, Pa.
