PRINT 17 is next week, and IPG is ready. We're hosting two free in-plant educational events to bring managers together for a free meal and good conversation. This year we're holding both a breakfast and a lunch session, covering the topics of data security and Web-to-print. To attend you must sign up separately for each, and space is limited.
- Monday Sept. 11. 9 a.m. Breakfast. Sponsored by Canon Solutions America, this event will focus on data security and explain how maintaining a secure production environment not only provides protection from data breaches, but adds another dimension to the value your in-plant provides. Carlos Fernandes, CEO, Agile Cybersecurity Solutions, and Aaron Hale, senior advisor, Canon Solutions America, will discuss the security demands of today and why it's important to secure your production workflow and copier fleet. The discussion will be moderated by Canon Solutions America VP of Major Accounts & Vertical Markets, Paul T. Murphy. Room S105d. Register here.
- Tuesday Sept. 12. 12 p.m. Lunch. Automated workflows can save your in-plant lots of money, and this session, sponsored by Rochester Software Associates, will prove it. The managers of Blue Valley Schools' in-plant will reveal how Web-to-print saved their district hundreds of thousands of dollars, while increasing their in-plant's value, bringing in more work and improving its efficiency. Room S105d. Register here.
Both events are free to in-plants. Register now to ensure you get a seat.
That's not all that PRINT 17 has in store for in-plants, however. The In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) will host a free in-plant luncheon on Sept. 11 (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m) as well as another session on the show floor (Sept. 10) featuring Greg Cholmondeley, who will reveal the results of an in-plant study he is doing for IPMA.
In addition, an in-plant panel discussion will take place on Monday, Sept.11 (11-11:50 a.m.) titled “In-Plant Panel: Bold Moves for the Future.” It will be moderated by Rochester Software Associates' Elisha Kasinskas. Find out more here.
